Our Story

Over the years, a trip to Quthing meant that you would have to source your food from elsewhere, unless you wanted to eat “street food” like makoenya (fat cakes), chips or russians (South African “russian” sausages. The other option was to find a chesa nyama (butchery that braais meet for you). This was all that was available.
The founder of the Steakhouse decided that this was unacceptable, and that there should be a proper place to sit and have a decent meal, to standards that people are used to in Maseru.
This is when the idea was born.
Construction commenced in 2023. The building with the finishings was completed in September 2024. Furniture and equipment was installed in December 2024, and the grand opening was on 21 December 2024.
